About

The Medical Mediation Foundation

The Medical Mediation Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation providing conflict management training and specialist mediation services in paediatric healthcare settings.

First established in the UK and headquartered in London, MMF now has a second base in Melbourne, serving Australia and New Zealand.

Our focus is to assist in preventing and managing disagreements between families/caregivers and health professionals.

Since 2010, MMF has trained more than 10,000 healthcare professionals.  More than 95% have described the training as excellent or very good and relevant to their work.
Conflict is upsetting in any walk of life but especially in health and social care. At MMF, we help you recognise, understand and manage the symptoms of conflict with our unique blend of training, mediation and coaching, delivered by an expert team, online and face to face.

We are delighted to be working with Children's Healthcare Australasia to offer our new Green Zone E-learning course from Spring 2023. The 3-hour interactive course was originally developed for NHS England and provides essential foundational skills.  Suitable as both a standalone training or as the first step in our comprehensive Conflict Management Program, the Green Zone Course complements our in-person training and other services, delivered by our UK and Australian-based faculty of experienced mediators and health professionals.
