The essential toolkit for recognising and understanding conflict between families and health professionals.

Teaches staff to
understand the causes and triggers for conflict with families/patients
recognise signs of potential or actual conflict
intervene and manage difficult situations
prepare for challenging conversations
discuss conflict cases across and within clinical teams

Course Delivery (two streams)
  • One-day face-to-face workshop for key clinical staff, managers and team leaders
  • E-learning program for the wider staff cohort, supplemented by skill builder MMF-facilitated drop-in sessions
